Terms of Use

By downloading or using WakeNest (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. What WakeNest is — and is not

WakeNest is a sleep tracking and wake-up app for general wellness and information. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent or monitor any medical condition. Sleep scores, trends and guidance are not medical advice. Do not rely on WakeNest as your only alarm for time-critical commitments.

2. Your responsibility

  • You are responsible for the permissions you grant to the App (Apple Health, microphone, notifications) and for how you use the information it shows.
  • Night sound recording may capture the voices of other people near your device. You must comply with the privacy and recording laws that apply where you use this feature.
  • If you have concerns about your health or sleep, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

3. WakeNest Pro (subscriptions and lifetime purchase)

  • The optional Pro upgrade removes ads and unlocks advanced features such as detailed reports and trends, the sleep coach, the sound mixer, night recordings, the smart alarm and CSV export. It is available as an auto-renewable weekly, monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple; refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies. You can restore previous purchases with “Restore Purchases” in the App.

4. Advertising and analytics

The free version of the App displays advertising provided by third parties (Google AdMob). Ads are removed with the Pro upgrade. The App also uses Adapty to measure purchase and subscription performance. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to reverse engineer it, or use it in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of third parties.

6. Disclaimer of warranty

The App is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that alarms, sleep detection or sleep analysis will always be accurate, available or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including missed alarms or reliance on sleep information.

8. Apple standard EULA

Where applicable, use of the App is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
